The upper-level low associated with the system is forecast to
gradually move eastward into the Intermountain West Saturday
night, which will decrease precipitation chances in California and
increase precipitation chances in Nevada, Arizona, and Utah.
Additional snow from this system will be possible in California
through Sunday afternoon with locally heavy accumulations
possible, especially in higher terrain. Widespread snow totals of
4 inches will be possible across Nevada, Arizona, and Utah with
locally higher amounts likely in higher terrain. Travel conditions
will remain dangerous in mountainous areas. Heavy rain in southern
California could lead to flooding of some rivers/streams and
flood-prone areas through Sunday afternoon.
This will be the last Storm Summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
