Conditions will continue to improve through the night across the
interior Northeast and New England, with snow coverage decreasing
as the coastal low progresses northeastward through the Canadian
Maritimes. Further light accumulations are possible, especially in
Western New York. Additional accumulations may reach 2-4 inches
before the event concludes. Lesser accumulation amounts are
possible farther inland tonight, as snow tapers off from west to
east. There may be some lingering lake-effect snow south of Lake
Erie into Saturday afternoon before the snow finally subsides.
This will be the last Storm Summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
