The ongoing atmospheric river is expected to persist through
Wednesday afternoon as the Pacific cold front slowly moves inland.
Although the heaviest rainfall has already occurred with this
event, an additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is expected, with
locally higher amounts, which will maintain an excessive rainfall
threat through Wednesday morning along the Oregon coastline and
the coastal ranges, and also along the Cascades given the degree
of saturated soils in the area owing to recent heavy rainfall. For
more information regarding the latest Excessive Rainfall threat,
please visit wpc.ncep.noaa.gov.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 700 AM PST. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
