peninsula of Michigan.

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for parts of the Midwest
and Great Lakes region.

At 700 AM MST...The winter storm system was continuing to move
Northeast across the Midwest. National Weather Service Doppler
radar imagery showed light to moderate snow across parts of the
Midwest and the Great Lakes region.

Snow is forecast to gradually come to an end in the Midwest today
as the system moves into the Great Lakes region and southern
Canada. Heavy snow is not expected across the Midwest, but there
could be heavy lake effect snow downwind of the Great Lakes.
