Cyclone Ophelia continues across the northern Mid-Atlantic states
and Southern New England...

Coastal Flood Watches and Advisories linger across parts of the
northern Mid-Atlantic and mostly over Long Island, New York.

At 1000 AM EDT...Ophelia's remnant circulation has moved off the
New Jersey Coast and moving eastward. Latest surface observations
and regional radar mosaic depict widespread moderate rain with
locally heavy pockets to the north low across Southern New England
and parts of the northren Mid-Atlantic.

The low pressure is forecast to continue a slow eastward movement
while weakening, over the Western Atlantic by Tuesday. Through
Monday , additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches should continue
across southeastern parts of New York State, and Southern New
England. Localized urban, and small stream flooding are possible
in areas of heavier rainfall.
