The low pressure system is forecast to move slowly eastward while
weakening, shifting offshore into the western Atlantic on Monday.
Through Sunday night, additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches should
spread north of the low across the northern Mid-Atlantic, southern
parts of New York, and southern New England. Localized flash,
urban, and small stream flooding as well as isolated river
flooding are possible in areas of heavier rainfall. Potentially
life-threatening surf and rip current conditions are likely to
continue through Sunday as well.
The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1100 PM EDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
