At 700 AM PDT...Latest radar and surface observations show
scattered precipitation ongoing this morning across parts of the
Northern Rockies, interior Northwest, and Great Basin as remnant
moisture from Hilary remains in place across these regions. Note:
rainfall observations for California and Arizona were collected
beginning this Friday at 7 AM PDT, while observations over Nevada
were collected starting Saturday at 7 AM PDT.

Hilary's remnant moisture will linger across parts of the West,
supporting shower and thunderstorm chances in the Northern
Rockies, interior Northwest, and Great Basin through the rest of
today. Isolated to scattered instances of flash flooding will be
possible. There is a Slight Risk of Excessive Rainfall in effect
for parts of northwestern MT, northern and central ID, far
southeastern WA, and northeastern OR. There is another Slight Risk
in effect for parts of central and southwestern UT and far
northwestern AZ. Precipitation and the threat of flash flooding
will decrease on Wednesday. For more information regarding the
Excessive Rainfall impacts due to the remnants of Hilary, refer to
the Weather Prediction Center at wpc.ncep.noaa.gov.
