At 1000 AM EDT...A slow-moving low pressure system has been moving
north across the Mid-Atlantic into New England, producing multiple
rounds of showers and thunderstorms. Slow-moving storms moving
over already saturated soils have resulted in particularly
dangerous conditions, especially across interior New England. Some
locations have received 4-8 inches of rain, causing rivers and
streams to rise rapidly and flood nearby areas and roadways.
Numerous Flash Flood Warnings have been issued since Sunday
morning, two of which were Flash Flood Emergencies.
