This system is forecast to linger just offshore of the Northeast
through tonight into Wednesday morning, producing additional
heavy-wet snow, strong winds, and coastal flooding. Although heavy
snow rates will diminish through tonight, strong winds and the
heavy-wet nature of the snow that has fallen will result in
further power outages and tree damage. Additional snowfall
accumulations of 3-8 inches are expected for portions of upstate
New York and New England.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1100 AM EDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
