...Widespread rainfall and gusty winds from Tropical Depression
Nicholas continue across the central Gulf coast from southeastern
Texas to the Florida Panhandle...

Flood Warnings are in effect for areal rivers from far
southeastern Texas along the central Gulf Coast to southern
Alabama.

Flash Flood Watches are in effect for portions of southern
Louisiana, southern Mississippi, southern Alabama, and the western
Florida Panhandle.

At 900 PM CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
widespread moderate to heavy rainfall was occurring from far
east-central Texas into portions of central Louisiana and
southwestern Mississippi north and east of the center of T.D.
Nicholas. More moderate rainfall was occurring farther east across
portions of central Mississippi, central and southern Alabama, and
the western Florida Panhandle. Additional rainbands with moderate
to heavy rainfall were lifting northeast across southeastern
Louisiana. Below are preliminary rainfall and wind observations
