Storm Nicholas moves inland...

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the eastern Texas Gulf
Coast.

A Storm Surge Warning is in effect for the eastern Texas Gulf
Coast.

A Storm Surge Watch is in effect for the far southwest Louisiana
Gulf Coast.

Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of the
southeastern Texas Gulf Coast.

Flash Flood Watches are in effect for the Gulf Coast from eastern
Texas to the extreme western Florida Panhandle.

Flood Warnings are in effect for areal rivers from the eastern
Texas Gulf Coast through southern Louisiana.

At 900 AM CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
widespread moderate to heavy rainfall overspreading portions of
the eastern Texas, southern Louisiana, and far southwest
Mississippi as Tropical Storm Nicholas tracks through eastern
Texas. The heaviest rainfall was observed within rainbands over
southern Louisiana while gusty winds up to and exceeding 30mph
were found to the north and northeast of Houston, Texas. Below are
