A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for portions of the Florida
Big Bend, southeastern Alabama, and southwestern Georgia.
Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of the central
Florida Panhandle, southeastern Alabama, and far southwestern
Georgia.
Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of the central Florida
Panhandle and along rivers in northern Florida.
A Storm Surge Warning is in effect along the coast of the Florida
Big Bend.
Flash Flood Watches are in effect for portions of the Florida Big
Bend, southeastern Alabama, western and northern Georgia, eastern
Tennessee, western South Carolina, and western North Carolina.
Flood Advisories are in effect for portions of southeastern
Alabama and in the Florida Big Bend.

At 1000 PM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated
widespread heavy rain around the center of Tropical Storm Fred
across southeastern Alabama, southwestern Georgia, and the
north-central Florida Panhandle. Additional heavy rain was noted
in rainbands extending out to the east further into southern
Georgia and the eastern Florida Panhandle, as well as to the north
over east-central Alabama and west-central Georgia. Generally
moderate winds of around 20 miles per hour were also observed in
southeastern Alabama, southwestern Georgia, and the north-central
Florida Panhandle, with recent gusts of up to about 45 miles per
hour. Below are preliminary rainfall and wind observations
