...Heavy rain, gusty winds, and severe weather affiliated with
Tropical Storm Elsa continue to impact the Mid-Atlantic as the
system moves into the Northeast...

Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect for portions of coastal
North Carolina and Virginia, much of the Chesapeake Bay and
DelMarVa Peninsua, and coastline areas from southern New Jersey to
northern Massachusetts.

Flash Flood Watches and Warnings are in effect for coastal and
inland areas extending from northern North Carolina to northern
Maine.

Coastal Flood Advisories are in effect for the Abemarle and
Curritcuk Sounds and adjacent waterways and the lower Cape Fear
River.

At 1000 PM EDT...Persistently steady to heavy rainfall and high
winds gusting to 40mph were ongoing across much of eastern
Virginia, southern Maryland, Delaware, and southern New Jersey as
Tropical Storm Elsa continued her northeastward progression up the
Eastern Seaboard. Below are preliminary rainfall and wind
