OBSERVATIONS INDICATED MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ALONG WITH NORTHERLY
WINDS GUSTING TO 60 TO 70 MPH CONTINUED TO IMPACT MUCH OF
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO INCLUDING THE FRONT RANGE. EVEN A PERIOD OF
THUNDERSNOW WAS REPORTED EARLIER NEAR THE COLORADO-NEBRASKA
BORDER. FARTHER TO THE NORTHEAST...A BAND OF SNOW HAD FORMED WELL
TO THE NORTH OF A WARM FRONT FROM ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS INTO

MEANWHILE...SNOW ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST INTO THE GREAT LAKES IS
EXPECTED TO PERSIST TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING WITH A BAND OF
FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET JUST TO THE SOUTH. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL
TOTALS OF 4 TO 10 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED FROM ACROSS THE UPPER
MIDWEST INTO THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES THROUGH THURSDAY INTO EARLY
ON FRIDAY. IN ADDITION...FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP LATER THIS EVENING ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST INTO THE LOWER
GREAT LAKES. ICE ACCUMULATION COULD RANGE FROM 0.1 INCHES IN THE
UPPER MIDWEST TO LOCALLY HALF AN INCH IN LOWER MICHIGAN. OVER
UPSTATE NEW YORK ...ICE COULD ACCUMULATE UP TO A QUARTER OF AN
INCH BEFORE CHANGING TO ALL RAIN THURSDAY NIGHT.
