ACROSS NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO AND SOUTHWEST ARIZONA. A STATIONARY
BOUNDARY EXTENDS EASTWARD THROUGH THE CENTRAL ROCKIES TO ANOTHER
SURFACE LOW WITH A CENTRAL PRESSURE OF 996 MB...29.41
INCHES...OVER THE COLORADO/NEW MEIXCO BORDER EAST OF THE
MOUNTAINS. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADARS AND SURFACE
OBSERVATIONS INDICATED LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN FALLING ACROSS THE
COLORADO FRONT RANGE. GENERALLY LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WAS FALLING
AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE CENTRAL ROCKIES IN COLORADO AND
WYOMING...WITH OCCASIONAL REPORTS OF HEAVY SNOW. A MIX OF RAIN AND
SNOW WAS FALLING ACROSS THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS IN NEBRASKA AND
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO. LIGHT SNOW WAS ALSO REPORTED ACROSS THE

THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT AND INTO EARLY MONDAY BEFORE GRADUALLY
TAPERING OFF DURING THE DAY ON MONDAY. TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 1
TO 2 FEET ARE POSSIBLE IN THE ROCKIES IN COLORADO AND WYOMING.
TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS AT THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS MAY EXCEED 2
FEET. ACROSS THE FRONT RANGE...SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 10
INCHES ARE EXPECTED. ADDITIONALLY...1 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW ARE
FORECAST IN THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS OF NORTHEASTERN COLORADO AND
WESTERN NEBRASKA. ACROSS THE WASATCH RANGE...ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 8 INCHES ARE EXPECTED.
