ANOTHER FRONT IS FORECAST TO REACH THE WEST COAST DURING THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS AND INTO THE DAY ON TUESDAY, BRINGING ANOTHER
ROUND OF HEAVY PRECIPITATION. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN
WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS AREAS OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AS WELL AS
WESTERN OREGON AND WASHINGTON. THERE MAY BE ISOLATED HIGHER
AMOUNTS, AND THIS COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING ISSUES ON
ALREADY SATURATED GROUND. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 FEET OF SNOW WILL
BE POSSIBLE THROUGH WEDNESDAY AT THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS. THIS
INCLUDES THE CASCADES AND INTO THE NORTHERN PORTION OF THE
INTERMOUNTAIN WEST. STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS WILL ALSO BE LIKELY,
ESPECIALLY ALONG THE COAST AND IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.
THE NEXT STORM SUMMARY WILL BE ISSUED BY THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL
PREDICTION CENTER AT 100 AM PST. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR LOCAL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS
EVENT.
