1014 MB...29.95 INCHES...WAS LOCATED IN CENTRAL MISSOURI. SURFACE
OBSERVATIONS AND NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
A SWATH OF SNOW EXTENDED ACROSS EASTERN NEBRASKA INTO WESTERN IOWA
WHERE SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP 35 MPH WERE
REPORTED. SOME LIGHT SNOW IS STILL LINGERING ACROSS NORTHEASTERN
COLORADO AND NORTHWESTERN KANSAS. MOSTLY RAIN WAS FOUND FARTHER
TO THE EAST OVER THE MIDWEST WHILE A BAND OF MODERATE SNOW WAS
FORMING ACROSS CENTRAL OHIO INTO SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA.
FARTHER SOUTH IN THE WARM AIR...A CONVECTIVE BAND OF MODERATE TO
HEAVY RAIN WITH EMBEDDED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED ACROSS THE

THE SURFACE LOW WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EASTWARD INTO THE TENNESSEE
VALLEY BY SATURDAY EVENING AND SLOWLY WEAKEN. SNOW TO THE
NORTHWEST OF THE LOW IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY TAPER OFF AS IT
CONTINUES TO SPREAD EASTWARD ACROSS THE MIDWEST TODAY AND TONIGHT.
MEANWHILE...A PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW OR MIXED PRECIPITATION CAN BE
EXPECTED TO SPREAD FROM THE OHIO VALLEY INTO THE CENTRAL
APPALACHIANS TONIGHT WHERE UP TO A FEW INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION
IS POSSIBLE.
