Low pressure is expected to move off the New Jersey coastline
tonight and gradually slide near Cape Cod Sunday afternoon. This
allows for the heaviest snow to push northeast into southern New
England tonight, while moderate to heavy snow remains possible
across parts of the Northeast. Snowfall rates within the heaviest
bands could reach 1-2 inches per hour, leading to low visibility
and deteriorating driving conditions. Snow chances are expected to
linger through much of the day on Sunday for these regions until
the storm system moves away from New England Sunday night. Storm
total snowfall amounts may exceed a foot across New England and
Upstate New York.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1000 AM EST. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
